Sikom Peace has in place a program that supports the training of the community to value democratic governance, human rights, social justice, peacebuilding, media, and gender equity.
Further, instability and armed conflict in Kapedo – Baringo border, coupled with weak governance capacity to control or monitor movements across borders have created fertile grounds for the emergence of forced migration.
Sikom Peace has increased the level of awareness and understanding of local authorities and community stakeholders in this phenomenon.
It has since engaged in enabling the collection of information on cattle rustling as well as developing a system of identification and support for affected victims.
